Cape Escape Tours EST. 1995
About this Tour
Undeniably, for those who want to see Cape Town’s best combined tour in one day, this carefully planned route will take you through the heart of the winelands, Stellenbosch, the second-oldest town in South Africa and to the legendary meeting place of the two oceans.. Cape Point. Firstly, we travel along the Atlantic seaboard with its sparkling white beaches and along the Twelve Apostles Mountain range. Then onto Chapman’s Peak Drive, renowned as one of the most spectacular scenic routes in the world. Finally reaching the Cape Point Nature Reserve and the tip of the Cape Peninsula. Seeing that, enough time will be allowed to hike or to take the funicular up to the iconic old Lighthouse. Last but not least, the legendary Cape of Good Hope, the most southwestern point on the African continent and the most photographed signed post.
The last part of our journey takes you along False Bay coastline with a stop at Boulders Beach, the African Penguins colony. Driving through the following places: Simon’s Town, Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay and Muizenberg, before heading inland to Stellenbosch. Renowned and prominent wine-producing areas, Stellenbosch is considered one of the oldest and most important wine regions in the country, with a wine making history dating back to the 17th century. A short walk in Stellenbosch is a delightful experience, as the town and its surroundings offer charming streets with historical architecture. We will take you to one of the oldest Pinotage wine-producing estates outside Stellenbosch, where you will be guided through their wine cellar and treated to a wine tasting of their finest vintage before making our way back to Cape Town.
Overall, Cape Town’s best combined tour in one full day from the Cape Peninsula to the Stellenbosch wine region promises an unforgettable outing combining natural beauty, wildlife encounters and historical significance, making it a must-do activity for anyone visiting Cape Town.
To conclude an unforgettable journey!

Cape Escape Tours has to be the best tour you could ever be on. Patrick makes your day. On timepick up, polite, knowledgeable, great driver. understands… read more the client, responds to any request, flexible. Full day tour to the cape of good hope with a great hike to the lighthouse. Had ample time for shopping and lunch. A wonderful stop @ Boulders Beach to visit penguins and a love at first site to see Simons Town. Was sad to leave at the end of the day. Any tour would be great but I’d say full days are the greatest. Going back to Cape Town I’d book everyday with him. Thank you Patrick for being amazing keep on being you as you are simply the best.

I had the pleasure to (try) the “Mini” peninsula all day tour. Patrick met me at the lower table car station at Table Mountain to start the tour. I was… read more his only guest, so we had lot’s of time to chat. Being in CT for 30 years and doing mtb for more than 15, Patrick definitely knows the ins and outs and is a very good guide.
The views and impressions, but also the inside informations on the tour were very special and even though I had to realise I would not make it back to the cable car station (I was around 250 / 1500 altitude meters short…), I still loved every meter I rode.
Patrick was kind enough to go on on his self to get his car, after which he fetched me and brought me to my car.
In a nutshell: Patrick is a very nice and fit guy you enjoy being around with that knows the Cape very well. I can recommend booking him–should I be travelling to CT again, I will do so myself!asseeger
